Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting the quality of every match

#1 Asuka vs. Becky Lynch

Another dream match.

I didn't think it would be this high, but I came here as a result of the process of elimination.

Asuka is another of those wrestlers that usually gives people their best match. Now give her the white-hot Becky Lynch for the first time on television and on one of the biggest stages of the year, and you have everything you need for a classic.

We should still exercise some caution, though. The booking of this match will matter a lot, namely - how does Asuka retain while keeping Becky as strong as possible, and vaulting her into the Rumble match later in the night? If that outcome doesn't occur, both Asuka and Becky Lynch will suffer greatly.

It's a tightrope and we should rightly exercise scepticism in WWE's ability to walk it, but there have been some decent signs lately, and we can take solace in the fact that everything up until the ending should be awesome.
