This WWE show has been a developmental ground for young talent.

A WWE show will undergo a major change in October. New details have come to light on whether the show will also change schedules.

NXT has been WWE's development brand for several years now. Over the years, it has grown from a reality show format to the third brand featuring lesser-known stars. The show has provided a place for wrestlers coming up in the Stamford-based promotion's developmental system to hone their skills in front of a crowd.

The Shawn Michaels-led brand has undergone many changes, from its initial days as a reality show to the black and gold era and the NXT 2.0 days. The show used to air on the WWE Network before it switched to USA Network, where it currently airs. However, that is set to change soon.

It was reported that NXT will move to The CW in October, making it the only WWE show to air on the network. This report raised questions about the show's TV schedule. Variety has confirmed that the show will continue to air on Tuesdays and retain its 8 PM EST time slot.

The move to retain its current time slot will be a huge help to fans who won't have to change schedules.

WWE SmackDown and RAW are also set to undergo major changes

It looks like NXT isn't the only show that will be undergoing a major change in the near future. Prior to NXT moving to The CW in October, SmackDown, which currently airs on Fox, will move to the USA Network.

The company's flagship show, RAW, will remain on USA Network until the end of the year before moving to Netflix starting January 2025.

RAW's deal with USA Network was only supposed to last till October, but they worked out a new agreement that allowed the show to remain on its network till the end of the year.

It remains to be seen if the change in networks will change the way NXT is produced in the future.
