WWE Superstar Sasha Banks recently posted a tweet, stating that she wants to wrestle Meiko Satomura in 2020. The Boss also posted a bunch of pictures featuring the two. The latter replied to Banks' tweet and said that she hopes it happens.

Meiko Satomura is a Japanese professional wrestler and the founder of Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling. She founded the promotion with Jinsei Shinzaki back in 2005. Many fans are not aware of the fact that Satomura had a brief stint with World Championship Wrestling back in the 90s. Gaea Japan had a working relationship with Ted Turner's promotion at the time, which was an attempt to establish a women's division in the company.

A tournament was held for the inaugural WCW Women's World Title, featuring eight women, in which Satomura was eliminated by eventual winner Akira Hokuto in the first round itself. Later, when a second women's title was introduced by WCW, Satomura was a part of that tournament as well. The same story followed here, as she was eliminated in the first round by Toshie Uematsu, who went on to win the tournament.
