According to reports, WWE have cancelled their kid-friendly segment Saturday Morning Slam and any listing of the show has been lifted from the Official WWE website.

CW, the channel that aired the segment on television tried to work out a deal with the WWE to make it a regular show with a premiere and finale. WWE officials did not find the offer pleasing and after rigorous consideration came up with the decision to pull the show off the air.

The show was rated TV-G, a level lower than WWE’s general TV-PG rating, and due to being aimed specifically at children, it does not feature any moves or holds aimed at the head or neck due to what is seen as their violent nature.

The officials at CW wanted WWE to alter the program from their regular taped versions to that of a news magazine. An agreement could not be reached on the topic, resulting in the disbanding of the show.

No further attempts have been made from either sides to reach a mutual agreement.
