Michaels had words of high praise for Ricochet and The Velveteen Dream. Besides, The Heart Break Kid also spoke about the rest of the NXT crew in light of a recent live event.

As noted, the WWE’s NXT brand recently commenced its weekend WWE NXT Road Trip live events in the Northeast.
WWE Hall of Famer Michaels was roped in so as to help with the organization of the aforementioned Road Trip—which in turn is being heralded by experts as a great strategic move by WWE, given HBK’s passion and guile in the pro-wrestling business.

Michaels has been working backstage for WWE as part of this weekend’s NXT Road Trip live events, whilst simultaneously monitoring the matches at the event.
It was this past Thursday that NXT put forth a live event in Washington, DC—a card that saw Ricochet take on The Velveteen Dream.
The aforementioned matchup saw Ricochet defeat The Velveteen Dream, following which both fans & experts have been lauding both NXT Superstars for their respective performances in the match.
Michaels chimed in with his two cents on the show; stating—
