WWE needs to make their world cup matter and that involves bringing John Cena back to television

Let's be honest here.

Why is The WWE Universe supposed to care about this WWE world cup tournament when it just seems like a gimmick to fill up time? Not only is that evident by how quickly the tournament was thrown together and who was thrown into it, but also by the fact that WWE hasn't announced a prize yet.

Again, why does WWE need to care about this? What's the big deal about getting behind the people that are going to take part in this match? With that being said and a lot of big stars already set to compete in the match, these stars need to come in front of the audience and tell them why this series of matches are important.

Furthermore, John Cena, who hasn't been seen on Raw or Smackdown Live in months, needs to get up in front of the audience and tell them why this is so important. If nothing else, maybe Cena getting fans energized about the match will be enough to give it some meaning and help in making it a big deal.
