What’s the story?
We have come to know from our sources that WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle are both likely to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. Both legends are set to be backstage at RAW tongiht in Orlando.
In case you didn’t know
Kurt Angle got inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame this weekend. Angle’s return to the WWE fold was announced back in February when the news broke that he was being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Shawn Michaels was on the pre-show panel for WrestleMania 33. He recently appeared on RAW a couple of weeks ago and warned Roman Reigns to think twice before challenging the ‘deadman’.
Heart of the matter
With Mick Foley getting fired from RAW a couple of weeks ago, there has been a lot of speculation as to who the next RAW GM will be. The rumour mill has been on fire all week with Angle heavily rumoured to be a favourite for the position.
Our sources tell us that either Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle will be announced as the new RAW GM tonight.
What’s next
RAW airs later tonight from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. We will have to wait and see if a new GM is announced tonight.

Kurt Angle’s WWE return is a dream scenario for most WWE fans, a number of whom are clamouring for an in-ring return. Although Angle has himself spoken about returning to the ring in WWE, a return as the RAW GM could set up the stage for Angle’s first WWE match in over a decade.
