The hottest news from a crazy week of sports entertainment

And what a week of wrestling it was! The Shield is back to dominate the main event scene on RAW, and they have been booked in a marquee match for the TLC main event.

That's not all. Sami Zayn showed his true colours, and revealed that he's not such a nice person, after all. AJ Styles is no longer United States Champion either. Kalisto is your Cruiserweight Champion!

Yes, in the last seven days, the world turned topsy-turvy in the world of sports entertainment, and you enjoyed the hottest news and updates from on-screen on this portal. However, when it comes to backstage action, we are always one step ahead of the pack.

Embark with us on a journey over the next seven pages, as we examine the hottest onscreen and off-screen happenings from WWE, over the last seven days. A journey we like to call SKFabe. And in the news, this week...

#1 Huge match set for next week on RAW

This main event belongs on a pay-per-view
This main event brawl belongs on a major pay-per-view

With due apologies to Okada and Omega, it would not be unfair to say that Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have had the rivalry of the year. Every time these men have locked horns, the results have been quite explosive indeed.

After the reunited Shield stopped Strowman in his tracks as he was about to break Matt Hardy (no pun intended at all) and triple powerbombed him through a table, this massive match was announced for the following week's RAW episode. Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman will square off inside a steel cage.

Hell in a Cell may be over, but if you're still hungry for some steel, well, you have this match to look forward to! RAW was not the only brand that let us in on some hot news, this week. Check out this equally massive announcement from SmackDown Live, as well.

#2 The Maharaja's Indian opponent has been announced

Imagine the kind of battle Mahal and Owens could have!
Imagine the kind of battle Mahal and Owens could have!

"The Modern Day Maharaja", Jinder Mahal is currently on a tour of India, to publicise the historic live events set to take place on the 8th and 9th of December in New Delhi.

During his trip, he was live on the official WWE Facebook page, and announced that his opponent for India would be none other than the dastardly heel, Kevin Owens.

Expectedly, this pretty much proves that while he may be a heel in the United States, he's coming to India as the babyface.

The other news that he announced was that this is the first time that an Indian Superstar would be coming to the country as the WWE Champion.

Is this an indication that Mahal will retain the championship until December? We suspect so!

#3 Kevin Owens is not a happy man

Owens was underwhelmed with his US Title feud
Owens was underwhelmed with his US Title feud

For those who have followed AJ Styles and Kevin Owens outside the company thus far, a clash between the two men on a stage as grand as WWE should have been a real dream come true.

Unfortunately, many felt that the men did not deliver, considering how good the feud could really have been. Kevin Owens echoed the sentiments of many fans.

Owens was a guest on E&C's Pod of Awesomeness and he said the following:

You (Edge) say you enjoyed the series of matches with AJ and I'm glad you did and hopefully a lot of people did as well but I don't know if I can say that I did, to be honest. I don't know if I was putting out my best stuff at the time and once that ended and I transitioned into that thing with Shane [McMahon] I did feel that working with Shane is a big deal and Vince, you know throwing himself into the mix -- I knew that you know, that's as big as it gets.

Well, Owens your feud with Shane McMahon was certainly off the charts, and therefore there's no reason to feel bad at all.

#4 Roman Reigns spoke about a 'Money Match'

Imagine such a match on a stage like WrestleMania some day
Imagine such a match on a stage like WrestleMania someday

For as long as he has been the golden boy of WWE, Roman Reigns has decimated every single opponent in his way, establishing himself as "The Big Dog".

The one man that he has not faced thus far is a man he shares a family bond with. Yet another man who was the golden boy of the company, once upon a time. None other than "The People's Champion", The Rock.

This is what Reigns had to say about the massive dream match during an interview with UK Mirror:

But at the end of the day, I know it’s a money match. And I’m the guy who is still in the ring, so if someone who isn’t in the ring every single night wants to come back in the ring, we now call it my yard, so he is going to have to come to me and then we’ll go from there.

As cool as this match would be, we wonder if it's a good idea to have Roman Reigns stand tall after yet another WrestleMania with his hand raised, with yet another legend lying on the mat, and the audience booing him in unison, one more time.

#5 Brains behind Carmella-Ellsworth union finally disclosed

Who was it who originally pitched the Carmella-Ellsworth idea?
Who was it that originally pitched the Carmella-Ellsworth team?

Surprise, surprise. It was Carmella, a marketing student in her youth, mind you, who pitched the alliance between her and Ellsworth. The latter disclosed the same during an episode of 'Dinner with the King':

I think it was last year at the European tour in November, she came to me and said, ‘Hey, I have this idea about putting you with me whenever you’re done with the Dean Ambrose and AJ stuff comes to an end, I have this idea to pitch to them. They put you with me, you fall in love with me, and I use that to my advantage to win matches and get me to the women’s title.

Vince McMahon loved the idea and the two of them have been going strong since. What a partnership and a dream run it has been for someone who was just brought in as mere enhancement talent.

#6 Has Elias earned The Undertaker's fiery wrath?

We saw Elias bust out a surprising move on RAW
We saw Elias bust out a surprising move on RAW

This week we saw Elias take on Apollo Crews in yet another throwaway match. How is this news you ask? Well, this is news because Elias performed The Undertaker's signature move- 'Old School' on Crews during the match.

Things became far more interesting when Bubba Ray Dudley indicated through a Tweet that Elias was in big trouble for stealing The Undertaker's move.

We do not know if he received the dreaded call yet, but let's just hope that The Undertaker does not make Elias "The Deadman" very soon.

And now we move to the last bit of news on our list, this week. This one concerns a former champion.

#7 Scrull invites Neville into the Bullet Club

Could Neville follow Cody's footsteps into the Bullet Club?
Could Neville follow Cody's footsteps into the Bullet Club?

There is still uncertainty over what really happened with Neville backstage, and if he did really walk out of RAW unhappy. Whatever the case may be, Marty Scrull from the Bullet Club invited him to switch sides and join the faction as his tag team partner.

To stay updated about the Neville situation, you know what you have to do, dear reader.
