SmackDown on FOX: 3 Reasons why Brock Lesnar should not have squashed Kofi Kingston in under 10 seconds

Brock Lesnar is The Beast. There is no doubt that putting the WWE Title on him increases its prestige as it is almost surely going to find itself in the main events of PPVs in the near future (which hadn’t been the case with Kofi Kingston).

However, having said that, Brock Lesnar is a part-timer, and the fact that a full-time wrestler, who is also the champion, lost to him like this does no good to the image of the company.

Secondly, Seth Rollins recently beat The Beast, cleanly and he did so while being injured in the storyline. Rollins wasn’t at 100% during his match against Lesnar at SummerSlam, and yet, he cleanly beat the former UFC Champion.

This was after he had beaten The Beast at WrestleMania. So it is safe to say that Lesnar, coming into this match, wasn’t the unbeatable Beast (and the way he ran out of the ring after being attacked by Velasquez is another testament). And while squashing Kingston like that may have put him back to that place, Kingston now looks very weak when compared to Rollins.

Had Kingston lost the match after a hard-fought battle, this wouldn’t have been the case.
