Stephanie McMahon talks about CM Punk and a WWE return

Stephanie McMahon was featured this morning on WGN Morning News to promote tonight’s Monday Night Raw from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois and discuss WWE and Susan G. Komen partnering together for their third annual breast cancer awareness campaign.

The most interesting part of the interview was when Stephanie was asked whether Chicago native and former WWE Superstar CM Punk would ever return to WWE and she simply responded by saying, “Never say never.”

As noted before, CM Punk left WWE back in January on bad terms. His last appearance for WWE was at the Royal Rumble PPV earlier this year. Although Punk’s off- screen girlfriend AJ Lee has good relations with the WWE staff and is currently in her third reign as the WWE Divas Champion, his return is something that has always been talked about but never materialized.
