Last week on Raw when WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was arrested and taken to the prison by the New York Police, his mug shot made an appearance. After this segment, former WWE writer Kevin Ecks revealed that Stephanie McMahon's mug shot was almost posted when she was arrested for slapping Brie Bella in 2014.
During Brie's rivalry with Stephanie, the principal owner of WWE will fire Brie after a loss to her sister Nikki Bella and when she will be at attendance for WWE Raw, Stephanie will slap her and that brought an angle of Stephanie getting arrested by the Police.
It was when WWE had planned to release the picture of Stephanie's mug shot. However, WWE dropped the plan after Triple H shot the idea down.
Here is what Ecks posted in his blog:
“Vince loved it. In fact, I think I may have gotten one of his “that’s good thinking” figurative pats on the back. However, when the creative team ran the angle by Triple H, he didn’t care for any of it, and he especially hated the mug shot idea.
His reasoning was that the faux mug shot of his wife would exist forever in cyberspace, and therefore, if someone did a Google search on Stephanie and the photo popped up, people might think she had actually been arrested, which could be detrimental to her career as WWE’s Chief Brand Officer.”
