2. Roman Reigns
In what seems to be an extremely rare occurrence, Roman Reigns doesn't have a clear-cut path to SummerSlam. Granted, he does have unfinished business with Shane McMahon, but Shane seems to be more focused on Owens than he does with Reigns. Hence, The Big Dog doesn't have much going on for him right now.
However, the former Universal Champion could always enter the WWE Championship picture. Reigns has always been one of WWE's highest prioritie,s and Vince McMahon would never shy away from crowning Reigns WWE Champion at a monumental stage like SummerSlam - just look at last year's show. WWE can't afford to let Reigns tread water and sit out of SummerSlam. Reigns has proven to be a credible draw and he would prove a great challenger to Kofi Kingston.
Ever since his return from leukemia, Reigns has stayed out of the World Championship picture. In fact, he has been involved in stale story-lines with Drew McIntyre, Elias, and Shane McMahon. Reigns needs to move onto bigger things and it doesn't get bigger than the WWE Championship.
