Sasha Banks deserves to retain her championship at SummerSlam
WWE Superstar Sasha Banks is undoubtedly one of the most talented wrestlers in the promotion. However, her record in the title matches at the PPV say a whole different story. She is now set to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Asuka at SummerSlam, just a few weeks after winning the title.
Considering Banks’ history with the title defenses at the PPV, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she loses her title to Asuka on Sunday. However, that’s not how her match should end at SummerSlam. She is having a great run alongside Bayley and needs the gold to further deepen the plot of inevitable betrayal between the two best friends.
Moreover, Banks is set to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at Payback just a week after SummerSlam. She, along with Bayley, will face Asuka and Shayna Baszler in the title match and frankly, that’s one gold that she can afford to lose. Hopefully, history will take a different turn at the coming PPV when Sasha Banks successfully defends her RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
