Bobby Lashley was attacked by Kewin Owens during a segment with Jinder Mahal. Owens was then joined by Elias who also had some unfinished business with Lashley. At Super Showdown, Owens and Elias would team up against Lashley and a returning John Cena.
Lashley's face run hasn't been quiet up to the expectations. Even after defeating Roman Reigns in his last PPV appearance, he has missed the next two PPVs. He has carried the feud alone, with Cena making an appearance directly at the Super Showdown. And, similarly to Nikki, if they lose due to miscommunication, it might prompt Lashley to turn against Cena, carrying on the feud to WWE Crown Jewel.
