SummerSlam certainly lived up to its hype of being the ‘biggest event of the summer’. The superstars put up a great show to enthral the WWE Universe. Some results were anticipated, whereas somewhere unexpected. All in all, it was well received package from the WWE.

Let us see what the superstars have to say about their SummerSlam exploits.

1) WWE Superstar Christian said that he was “heartbroken” following his World Heavyweight Championship match loss to Alberto Del Rio. He also said that he has a few things to ponder about.

2) WWE Diva Natalya picked up an impressive win over Brie Bella. She was emotional after her win and said that she felt like she did it for her dad (Jim Neidhart), her grandfather and her uncles, Bret and Owen Hart.

3) WWE Superstar Big Show termed Daniel Bryan’s title loss to Randy Orton as “garbage.” Big Show was not amused at what Triple H did and teased wanting to K.O Triple H.

4) CM Punk, who faced Brock Lesnar in a gruelling battle in SummerSlam said he’s not in this to win, but to solely hurt Paul Heyman. Punk added that he wasn’t interested in wins; he just wanted to break Heyman’s face and that it’s not over between the two.

5) Cody Rhodes, after his SummerSlam win said that he is now over his former partner Damien Sandow. Even though he did not comment about shaving his moustache, Cody insisted about something that is going to happen soon and for us to watch out.

6) MITB winner Damien Sandow was certainly dejected after his loss to Rhodes. But he declared that he is the better man among the two and let his ego stay afloat.
