Another big shocker on this list is Dean Ambrose, who is one of the most popular superstars in WWE but isn't exactly viewed as a top guy. He has also proven to be injury prone a couple of times throughout his career on the main roster, which could be a factor in why they don't consider Ambrose a top guy.

Interestingly enough, it is being rumoured that Ambrose's wife, Renee Young, will be leaving The WWE once her contract is up and The Lunatic Fringe will apparently be going with her. While that is of course still just a rumour at this time, and could very well be wrong, it becomes very plausible when you consider how much Ambrose's career has stalled lately.

Couple that with the rumour of WWE not seeing Ambrose as a top guy and his recent string of injuries and it seems like the writing is on the wall. In the end, maybe WWE can convince both of them to stay and sign new long-term deals, but if not, Ambrose can retire with a relatively respectable career or go back to the indies until he chooses to retire.
