How can WWE have already ruined Bobby Roode?

Let's start with the fact that he was a heel in NXT, but WWE brought him up to the main roster as a babyface. WWE followed that ridiculous decision up by putting Rhoode in feud with Dolph Zigler, which did more to expose Roode's flaws in the ring then to actually build him up as top face.

After winning his feud with Ziggler, Roode was given the opportunity to compete in The Seven on Seven Survivor Series match but was the second person eliminated Bruan Strowman. He later won a tournament to determine the new United States Champion, which fans thought was a step in the right direction for The Glorious One, but he was beaten by Randy Orton at the next pay per view and then lost again at WrestleMania 34.

WWE then made things even worse by moving Rhoode to The Raw brand, where he is continuously being shuffled backwards despite it being a three hour show. In the end, maybe this is one of those situations that WWE can turn around if the ring ideas were in play, but Rhoode isn't going to go anywhere as babyface and his main roster run proves it.
