Winner: Buddy Murphy

It's good to see Buddy Murphy get some shine. True to form, whenever he's on television, he delivers a pulse-pounding match. This bout with Akira Tozawa was no exception. Unfortunately, Buddy Murphy isn't on the Survivor Series card, but getting some spotlight here could indicate that there are some plans for him after that show.

I'm sure we'd all like to see Buddy Murphy vs. AJ Styles at some point, for example. If Humberto Carillo can be feuding with Styles and his faction (as he took on Karl Anderson last night), why not Buddy Murphy?

WWE is maddeningly inconsistent in who they push, but Buddy Murphy is consistently one of the best performers in the company. Whenever he's given the ball, he scores with it. Hopefully that will tell the higher-ups backstage that he deserves some more time and stories on these shows. Was last night a start?
