What was the point of this? I'm not sure. What I do know is that stuff like this is why WWE has repeatedly struggled to create stars and yet they continue to do it.

MVP took down Apollo Crews last night. Champions going down in a non-title setting is so expected that one can barely remark on it anymore. Ultimately, Apollo Crews will be fine. For MVP, the win established him as a menace to RAW, which will matter more for him going forward as he does his thing with his stable.
Bobby Lashley defeated Ricochet immediately after this, proving the point.
