There's no real shame to losing to Kevin Owens, but remember that Aleister Black only just turned heel on RAW and still hasn't found himself in a good storyline since moving up to the main roster a year and a half ago.

As a result, the loss blunted a lot of the momentum he could have gained from his heel turn. Granted, he was distracted by RETRIBUTION, but WWE needs to be careful with how it plays Aleister Black, if it wants him to be a big force on RAW, that is.

Lana has always been a joke character (except for a brief period in the summer of 2017), but there was more build for her new alliance with Natalya than there was for the Riott Squad of late, who seem to have lost match after match on RAW. Nevertheless, they beat Lana and Natalya in a forgettable match before Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler emerged from the commentary table and laid them out.

We'll just have to see what happens from here, but this story isn't gelling.
