SmackDown Winner - Otis

Well, this was at least something. John Morrison continued to work on behalf of his partner, The Miz. on SmackDown. However, Otis defeated him in a relatively quick match this week.

I don't think this story is particularly helping Otis solidify himself in the position he's in. When you think about a potential challenge to Roman Reigns, he looks incredibly lacking.

Then again, Otis is known for his comedic routines above anything else, which might mesh well with the persona that Roman Reigns has taken on. We'll just have to see how such a thing could happen. However, one gets the feeling that this angle on SmackDown will be a relatively forgettable waypoint.

SmackDown Winners - Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, and Bray Wyatt

Rarely does a segment in WWE make everyone involved come out looking like a winner. Such was the case on SmackDown last night, when Kevin Owens interviewed Alexa Bliss, only for him to find out she had "let him in." Who was "him?" "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, of course, who attacked him mercilessly.

If Kevin Owens gets drafted to SmackDown, or Bliss and Wyatt to Monday Night RAW, WWE has put in place a fun feud for the fall season. We'll just have to see what happens.
