What's the story?

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay interrupted SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte to make an explosive main roster debut.

In case you didn't know...

Royce and Kay have been one of the most dominant teams on the NXT roster over the past few years, but The Iconic Duo hasn't been part of the show for the past few months as rumors circulated that they could be heading to the main roster.

Royce was part of the first-ever WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal on Sunday night but was unable to make history on the Grandest Stage of Them All, since Billie Kay wasn't by her side.

The heart of the matter

SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte made her way to the ring to thank Asuka for such a fantastic match at WrestleMania before she was interrupted by The Iconic Duo, who went on to make fun of Charlotte's speech before beating her down.

Charlotte was then dragged back into the ring before Carmella successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to become the SmackDown Women's Champion.

What's next?

The Superstar Shake-up begins in a week and it will be interesting to see which women are brought over to SmackDown Live.

It seems that The Iconic Duo have their focus firmly on the SmackDown Women's Championship, which is now around the waist of Charlotte.

Author's take

The Iconic Duo has only been on SmackDown for a few minutes and they have already played their part in making history by helping Carmella to cash in her Money in the Bank contract successfully.

The women stated that they were the future and given their history on NXT, it's hard to argue with them.
