The Rock's last appearance on WWE programming came at Bad Blood 2024 when he returned after Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Since this appearance, there has been no update on the return of The Final Boss, but many believe he could soon make an appearance due to what happened on NXT.
As a matter of fact, many believe the recent episode of the developmental brand could lead to Rock returning and punishing a 34-year-old WWE Superstar. The superstar who could face the wrath of The Final Boss is Eddy Thorpe.
Last night on NXT, Thorpe was involved in a segment in which he put his hands on The Rock's daughter and NXT GM Ava, after which the latter got knocked out. While Thorpe's actions met the fury of Shawn Michaels, many believe Rock could also return to punish Thorpe.

Even though it's understandable why many believe The People's Champion would punish Thorpe, it's unlikely something along these lines would take place. Instead, what could happen is that there could be a clarification from Thorpe that he did not push Ava, and it was simply a misunderstanding.
Roman Reigns recently spoke about the possibility of facing The Rock in WWE
For a long time, the world of wrestling has been discussing the possibility of a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. While the mentioned match was close to being booked on some occasions, nothing materialized, and many fans still desire to see them lock horns.
Recently, The Original Tribal Chief did an interview with Sports Illustrated, and he was asked about the possibility of facing The Rock in WWE. Reigns answered that if the fans and The Final Boss desire to see this match, then there is a chance it could happen. Reigns said:
"I think our fanbase and the company's proven that if our fans are loud enough and passionate enough about something, we're a company who - we're not being dictated to. We have a vision for where we're trying to go, but we know who the consumers are. We know who's paying their hard-earned money, and we want to satisfy those people, but we have to do it in a regard that's going to attract more eyes and bring more people in. And Dwayne's always going to be in that role."
The OTC added:
"That's why he's a part of the board and a part of everything the way he is, because we're at an unprecedented time right now. Business is great, and we just want to continue to push things up. So, if that's what the people want and The People's Champ is down, I'm sure we can make something happen."

When The Rock arrived at WWE Bad Blood earlier this year, it seemed like he was there to send a strong message to Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. Hence, there is a chance fans could see the two family members face each other at an event like WrestleMania 41.
