Commercials were aired during NBA matches yesterday that confirmed that The Rock will participate in WWE‘s Elimination Chamber PPV, that takes place on February 17th at the New Orleans Arena.
The Rock will face off against the current WWE champion for the title at Royal Rumble before it, on January 27, 2013.
The Rock had announced during RAW 1000 earlier this year that he would fight for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. Soon after, WWE Champion CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and John Cena had each stated that they would face The Rock. However, later that night, The Rock was attacked and laid out by Punk.
