#3 Destroying The Competition Beforehand

After Wrestlemania 30, The Shield started feuding with The Authority. Their rebellion backfired as The Shield was booked in a 3 on 11 Handicap tag team match on the April 14th, 2014 edition of Raw. The Shield was severely outnumbered. the match ended in a no-contest as the referee couldn't maintain the control of the match. The 11 heels continued their beat-down on The Shield after the match. The re-united Evolution then appeared and brutally assaulted The Hounds of Justice.

The Shield was booked again in a 3 on 11 handicap tag team match a week later on Smackdown. This time however, The Shield took out more than half of their opponents beforehand. The Shield attacked Fandago, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger and Curtis Axel during the episode. The Shield also attacked the General Manager Brad Maddox. The Shield then went on to win the handicap match against 5 opponents. This episode of Smackdown heavily featured The Shield doing what they did best i.e serving justice!
