On the May 12th, 2014 edition of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns was scheduled to face Batista in the main event. The match ended in a no-contest after Triple H, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins ended up getting involved. The Shield and Evolution continued to brawl until the heel roster came out to attack The Shield once again. The heels took out Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose but continued to attack Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns, somehow broke free and speared Triple H before getting jumped over by the heels again. Ambrose and Rollins then entered the ring with steel chairs and started attacking the Heels. The Evolution retreated while The Shield continued assaulting the heels. The Shield Triple Power-bombed Ryback to close the show while standing tall in the ring.
