4. The Miz and John Morrison
In 2007, The Miz and John Morrison were a pretty prevalent tag team in WWE. They held the WWE Tag Team Championship and the World Tag Team Championship before they split in 2009. Morrison left the company in 2012 and went on to have a solid career on the indies and in Impact Wrestling.
In late 2019, Mike Johnson of Pro Wrestling Insider reported that Morrison had re-signed with the WWE, and on the first episode of SmackDown in 2020, Morrison returned and reunited with The Miz.
Miz and Morrison competed in a fatal four-way tag team match against The Revival, Lucha House Party, and Heavy Machinery to determine who would face The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WWE Super ShowDown.
Miz and Morrison went on to defeat The New Day to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions, their first WWE tag titles win in almost 11 years.
The two competed in just the second tag team Elimination Chamber match where they successfully defended their titles. At WrestleMania 36, with Miz out due to illness, Morrison defeated Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso in a fantastic ladder match to retain the titles.
Miz and Morrison would lose the titles just 50 days into their title reign. Although their reign was short lived, Miz and Morrison have continuously been a major part of big WWE storylines in 2020, and both men are seemingly having a lot of fun together again.
