Bayley and Sasha Banks have had a very strange relationship on WWE television. They have continuously teamed up, just to split up again, months down the road. It got to the point where whenever they would team up, WWE fans would bet on how long their friendship would last.

Late in 2019, Bayley (SmackDown Women's Champion at the time) turned heel for the first time in her WWE career by helping Banks beat down Becky Lynch. In June of 2020, Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions for the second time in the title's history.

With Bayley being one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, and the SmackDown Women's Champion, she and Banks did extremely well in the spotlight. Bayley showed a more aggressive side that definitely worked for her, and Sasha Banks honed her craft as a top female heel.

Bayley and Banks successfully defended the titles four times over their 120-day reign, but the amount of days isn't as important as the quality of their promos and matches during that time. The friendship even lasted a little longer than previous times, which made the eventual split even more noteworthy.
