The New Day entered first and cut a short promo about retaining their straps. Kofi Stayed outside the ring while Xavier Woods and Big E stepped inside the cell. The match began with a flurry of action as the two teams reached under the ring and out came chains and tables among other weapons in the no disqualifications match.

The New Day started strong with Woods hitting a powerful spinning forearm before Big E missed with a spear and crashed into one of the walls of the steel cell. Jimmy Uso hit Woods with a crossbody into the cell followed by a successful spear from Big E sending Uso crashing into the cage wall.

Woods used Francesca to beat the Usos and destroys the trombone completely on Jey before Big E handed him a cowbell which he then used to attack his opponents. The Usos took advantage of the multiple kendo sticks under the ring and handcuffed Woods to the ring post before attacking him over and over, straining his ribs in the process.

Big E was completely drained by the end of it but somehow managed to catch the Usos off guard as he threw Jey outside and hit a belly to belly suplex on Jimmy. Big E drives Jimmy into the cell twice, getting his brother too, the second time. Big E took it back to the ring and hit the big ending on Jimmy but failed to capitalise. The Usos were in control as they hit Big E with a few superkicks followed by the double-Uce. Still handcuffed, Xavier Woods broke the pin at the last moment but was caught by an assault from the Usos with a few kendo sticks. The Usos got lucky with a double Uce on Woods while having a steel chair laid on top of him and got a successful pinfall. The Usos defeated The New Day and became the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Result: The Usos def. The New Day and became the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
