Could Asuka claim her first main roster Championship?
Asuka was pushed to the main roster a few years back when she was still undefeated in her WWE career, she was then the winner of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble earlier this year. The former NXT Women's Champion saw her streak come to an end at WrestleMania when she took on Charlotte for the SmackDown Women's Championship but came up short.

This feud has been rehashed over the past few weeks as Asuka and Charlotte have faced off numerous times and being able to pin the former seven-time Women's Champion would be the best revenge for Asuka on Sunday night. The Empress of Tomorrow is currently the favorite to walk out of San Jose with the Women's Championship this weekend.
Asuka has been on the main roster for the past year and this would be the first Championship that she has been able to pick up since her promotion.
