The Super Show-Down took place in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

The matches included on the card were Asuka & Naomi vs The IIconics, Cedric Alexander vs Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Championship, Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey & The Bella Twins vs The Riott Squad, Bobby Lashley & John Cena vs Kevin Owens & Elias, Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women's Championship, The New Day vs The Bar for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship, The Shield vs The Dogs of War in a 6-Man Tag Team match, and Undertaker vs Triple H.

Several insane wrestling moves were hit during this show from the 6 man tag team match, the 6 woman tag team match, the Cruiserweight Title match, and the two no disqualification matches.

The likes of the New Day, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Cedric Alexander, Ronda Rousey, Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Triple H, & Shawn Michaels hit these moves.


#10 Samoa Joe's Sleeper Suplex on AJ Styles

Samoa Joe faced AJ Styles for the WWE Championship in a no disqualification match at WWE Super Show-Down. Towards the end of the match, Samoa Joe went for the Coquina Clutch on AJ Styles once again. However, instead of going for the submission, he decided to go for a suplex instead.

This variation of the German suplex is known as the sleeper suplex. AJ Styles landed right on the back of his head and neck. The move looked vicious and it is a miracle that AJ Styles is okay after that brutal spot.


#9 Triple H's sledgehammer shot to the face of The Undertaker

Triple H faced The Undertaker in the main event of WWE Super Showdown in a no disqualification match. During the match, Shawn Michaels handed Triple H a sledgehammer while Kane handed The Undertaker a chair.

Triple H then hit The Undertaker in the face with a sledgehammer. The chair then collided right into the face of The Undertaker.

#8 The New Day's Backstabber/Diving Double Stomp combo on Cesaro

The Bar challenged The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in the opening match of WWE Super Show-Down. Towards the end of the match, Kofi Kingston took out Sheamus with a Trouble in Paradise on the outside.

Xavier Woods then gave Kofi Kingston the tag. Woods hit a backstabber on Cesaro and held him on his knees. Kingston then hit a Diving Foot Stomp off of the top rope to get the win for his team.


#7 Ronda Rousey's Double Armbar on Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan

Ronda Rousey teamed up with The Bella Twins to face their rivals in The Riott Squad. Towards the end of the match, Ronda Rousey took out both Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Rousey then locked in a Double Armbar to get a double tap out from both Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

#6 Cedric Alexander's Avalanche Michinoku Driver on Buddy Murphy

Buddy Murphy challenged Cedric Alexander in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia, at WWE Super Show-Down. Alexander was perched at the top rope, while Buddy Murphy was more than willing to join him up on the top turnbuckle.

Murphy was presumably going for a superplex before Alexander planted him with an Avalanche Michinoku Driver. Alexander was shockingly unable to get the win with that impressive move. Buddy Murphy was able to win the title later in the match with Murphy's Law.


#5 AJ Styles's Electric Chair on Samoa Joe through the table

Samoa Joe challenged AJ Styles for the WWE Championship one last time at WWE Super Super Showdown. Samoa Joe was on the top rope when AJ Styles put him in the Electric Chair position.

While Joe was trying to fight out of it, Styles still managed to hit the Electric Chair through the table. Joe fell on his side through the table and hurt his knee as a result of it.

#4 The Undertaker's Chokeslam on Shawn Michaels through the announce table

After the end of The Undertaker vs Triple H match, the Undertaker, Kane, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H all stood together and raised each other's hands as a sign of respect. The Brothers of Destruction then shockingly attacked D-Generation X. The Undertaker took out Triple H with a Tombstone Piledriver.

The Undertaker then put Shawn Michaels through the announce table with a brutal Chokeslam. This set up the tag team match between D-Generation X & The Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel.


#3 Triple H's Apron Elbow Drop on The Undertaker through the table

Kane accompanied The Undertaker while Shawn Michaels accompanied Triple H during the Triple H vs The Undertaker match at WWE Super Show-Down. There was a table that was placed outside the ring. Michaels then hit Kane with Sweet Chin Music which left Kane laid out on top of the table.

Triple H then hit an Elbow Drop off of the apron on Kane to take him out for a good portion of the match. Triple H would get the win thanks to some much-needed assistance from Shawn Michaels.

#2 Roman Reigns's Spear on Braun Strowman through the barricade

The Shield faced off with the trio of Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre in a 6 man tag team at WWE Super Showdown. It was teased that Dean Ambrose would turn on The Shield throughout the match.

This was especially teased when Roman Reigns accidentally hit Dean Ambrose with a Superman Punch. However, Ambrose would choose to stand with his brothers. Roman Reigns made it up to Ambrose later in the match.

Braun Strowman went to hit Ambrose with a Running Shoulder Block into the steel stairs before Reigns intercepted Strowman and took him out with a Spear through the barricade. The Shield would get the win soon after that.


#1 Samoa Joe's STJoe on AJ Styles into a chair

AJ Styles had Samoa Joe in the corner. Styles then went to attack Samoa Joe off of the chair. Joe then caught him and hit an STJoe; Styles crashed back first into the chair, but Joe was unable to get the win with that move. AJ Styles got the win later in the match with the Calf Crusher.
