Apart from the in-ring action, a lot transpired outside the ring on social media

Another incredible week ends in the WWE, with the flagship show of the company squashing the SmackDown show 6-0 at WWE Survivor Series last Sunday.

Monday Night RAW had one of the most brutal segments as Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley attacked Braun Strowman, taking him out of action for at least a few weeks. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose also added another chapter in their rivalry.

The team of The Miz and SD Live Commissioner, Shane McMahon, debuted on Tuesday night albeit in a losing cause, and Daniel Bryan cancelled the Yes! Movement.

Apart from the in-ring action, a lot transpired outside the ring on the social networking site, Instagram. Here are the top 10 Instagram posts of the WWE Superstars.

#10 Becky Lynch shares her road to recovery

The reigning SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, was in the dream run of her WWE career before an untimely injury led her to stay out of the ring for a few weeks.

During the RAW invasion last week, RAW’s Nia Jax punched Becky Lynch so hard that Lynch was bleeding badly during that segment, and also suffered a concussion after the show. This led to the WWE medical team not clearing Becky Lynch for her “Champion vs Champion” match against the RAW Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey, at WWE Survivor Series.

Though Charlotte Flair replaced her in that match, the fans were robbed off a dream match between two of the best female superstars of the modern era.

Becky is recovering from her injury, and shared an update via her Instagram account, by uploading a photo where she is undergoing treatment. Nicknamed “The Man”, she posted the photo with a bold caption which issued a warning to the entire female locker room of the WWE.

#9 The Singh Brothers show off their incredible physique

While the Singh Brothers may not be a regular feature on Monday Night RAW, Samir and Sunil Singh have made sure they garner a lot of fans on social media. Following their master Jinder Mahal’s footsteps, the two Punjabis work out very hard in the gym, and they displayed their Greek god-like physique on the social networking site, Instagram.

The two Singhs reunited on WWE TV after Samir Singh completed his rehab to make his return. However, the status of Jinder Mahal is not the same as The Modern Day Maharaja is now reduced to a jobber who portrays a “Shanti” gimmick.

The brothers even received quite a beating at the hands of the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, recently. By sharing this picture on Instagram, Samir and Sunil may be trying to impress Vince McMahon so as to receive a push from the WWE Creative team.

#8 Asuka and Naomi show their friendship on social media

Naomi and Asuka have been working as a tag team on WWE TV of late, and the bond between the former SmackDown Women’s Champion and The Empress of Tomorrow was on display on Instagram this week.

The Japanese superstar shared a picture of herself with her on-screen partner Naomi. It seems like both superstars clicked a selfie ahead of their morning practice sessions.

Both Naomi and Asuka were a part of the Team SmackDown which lost to Team RAW at Survivor Series. While Naomi was eliminated early in the match, Asuka was the last SmackDown Live superstar to eat the pin during the 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series match.

With Becky Lynch looking for a new challenger, it would be good to see any of the two female talents receive a title shot at WWE’s last pay-per-view of the year, WWE TLC.

#7 The Monster Among Men celebrates Thanksgiving

Braun Strowman featured on WWE’s official Instagram page as the company shared The Monster’s picture of him holding a Turkey like only he can. But, The Monster might celebrate Thanksgiving on a hospital bed as he received a vicious beat down at the hands of the Acting General Manager of RAW, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.

The Monster was amongst the 3 sole survivors of RAW along with McIntyre and Lashley at Survivor Series, and had played a vital role in decimating SD Live’s stars.

However, it looks like his match with Baron Corbin at TLC is in jeopardy, and he might no longer face The Beast at the Royal Rumble PPV in January.

It would be interesting to see how Braun deals with his injury. Also, WWE maintained kayfabe in their Instagram post by not tagging Braun Strowman’s Instagram profile, which has a user name of “@adamscherr99”.

#6 Mandy Rose's Leg Day

'The Golden Goddess' Mandy Rose made her presence felt on Instagram with a video of herself performing a leg workout and also promoting a product on Black Friday. The Greatest Creation of God tried a leg burner, taking no rest between sets, along with holding a dumbbell in her hands.

Mandy will receive a huge push soon, as seeds for a split between her and partner Sonya Deville have already been sown. The Golden Goddess of SmackDown Live needs to perform well inside the ring to cement her position as a top female star, as she already has the physique and mic skills required to be the face of the division.

It would be interesting to see how things work out on SmackDown Live as 'The Nature Girl' Charlotte Flair has turned heel, and the reigning champion, Becky Lynch, is nursing an injury.

#5 The ever smiling Finn Balor

There’s one thing we can learn from Finn Balor’s career, and that is whatever situation you are in, always sport a wide smile on your face. Looking at how far Finn has fallen on the card, the Irish superstar should find a corner and cry. But that has not been the case here.

Finn Balor always has a happy face, which touches the hearts of the WWE Universe. He has wrestled in more matches than anyone in the past year, which proves his dedication towards his WWE career.

Finn has always been present at almost all the WWE promotional events. The Leader of the Balor Club uploaded a photo of himself standing in his signature pose at a live event, tagging the photographer, Mike Segobia, in the post’s caption. Finn’s wonderful post has received over 75,000 likes and 440 comments.

#4 Nia Jax wishes The Bella Twins a Happy Birthday

Two of the most successful female superstars of the WWE, Nikki and Brie Bella, celebrated their birthday this past week and received warm wishes from their fans all over the world. A plethora of superstars wished the duo on their special day via social media, this included the #FaceBreaker as well.

Nia Jax, who has received nuclear heat from the WWE Universe after injuring Becky Lynch, has embraced her heat on WWE TV. Though off-screen she is friendly with all the female superstars, and she posted pictures with Nikki and Brie.

Nia also added a touching happy birthday caption to the post. The friendship between Nia Jax and The Bella Twins can be seen on the Total Divas TV series which also features Paige, Natalya, Lana, and Naomi, airing on the E! network. Nia Jax will be up against Ronda Rousey in a RAW Women’s Championship match at WWE TLC next.

#3 Brie Bella's special night with Daniel Bryan and Birdie Joe

Brie Bella, who recently celebrated her 35th birthday, shared a picture of herself and her husband, the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan along with the couple’s daughter, Birdie Joe. The power couple of WWE have always shown their love for each other on social media, but Birdie made a special appearance in the picture last night.

Brie had made her in-ring return in October, and was also a part of the Hell in a Cell, Super Show-Down and Evolution pay-per-views. However, she has been on a hiatus after the WWE Evolution show.

On the other hand, Daniel Bryan who was a much-loved baby-face, shockingly turned heel and won the WWE Championship from AJ Styles, and also had a phenomenal match with the WWE Universal Champion of Monday Night RAW, 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar in the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2018.

#2 Alexa Bliss thinking about coffee and wine at the commentator's table

The last few weeks have not been good for Alexa Bliss as she has been away from the ring nursing an injury. Despite being injured, Alexa has continued to be a vital part of the flagship show, as she had led Team RAW to a fantastic victory over team SmackDown in the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match.

She has been a regular feature on RAW, and was also present at the commentators’ desk displaying her brilliant mic skills. The Goddess is being rumored to stay away from the ring to take over the position of General Manager of RAW from 'The Lone Wolf' Baron Corbin.

Well, there’s a strong possibility of it happening, but Bliss shared a candid picture of herself this week, where according to her, she was probably thinking about coffee and wine at the announcers’ desk.

#1 The Instagram post of the week - Sasha Banks' beautiful collage

While 'The Boss' Sasha Banks has been away from the title picture for a long long time, she has continued to gain a number of fans on Instagram, as she is the most active WWE Superstar on the photo sharing site. Sasha shared a collage of her 4 pictures with different poses, a post which has been liked by over 112,000 users, and also has received 1,400+ comments.

Sasha Banks is currently floundering in the RAW Women’s division where she is part of a meaningless feud with The Riott Squad. Probably a switch to SmackDown Live will help her rejuvenate her career.

Otherwise, from being one of the top female superstars of the company, she will be reduced to the role of a lower mid card female superstar just like Alicia Fox and Natalya.
