#2 Finn Balor is back in the Title picture
The show started with Roman Reigns announcing his first title defense later that night, against Finn Balor. Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin at SummerSlam in a squash match. Finn Balor's alter ego 'The Demon King' showed up and decimated Baron Corbin in no time.
Finn Balor had won the inaugural WWE Universal Championship by defeating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. Unfortunately, he had to relinquish the title the next day due to a legitimate injury he suffered in his match at SummerSlam. He never got a rematch after his comeback.
The interesting thing is that Balor got his rematch at the same venue where he had won the Championship which is Brooklyn, New York. The match was a classic between Finn Balor and Roman Reigns with great moments.
In the end, it was Reigns who retained his title. Finn Balor deserves to be in the main event matches on RAW. There is a possibility that Balor would get a future opportunity to decide the next number one contender for the Universal Championship.
