#4 Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan (Survivor Series 2018)

This match was strange from beginning to end.

It all started with a scheduled matchup at Survivor Series between AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar, which would have been a rematch from the previous year's event. That didn't end up happening; instead, Daniel Bryan won the WWE Title from Styles only a few days before the fall classic pay-per-view (just as Styles had done to Jinder Mahal the year before), which set him on a collision course with The Beast Incarnate.

Interestingly enough, WWE turned Bryan heel in the process, which only made the upcoming match more of a wild card. In fact, it created a situation where Bryan braced himself and essentially rope-a-doped Brock, as he absorbed Lesnar's offensive onslaught while still managing to get a kick thrown here and there. No matter what Brock did, however, it seemed like there was nothing that he could do to put Bryan away.

When the time was right, Bryan started to mount a big offensive attack against Lesnar, featuring moves like his running knee and even the Yes Lock, which left his opponent reeling. In the end, Lesnar would start running on pure adrenaline, as he kicked out after Bryan threw one last running knee at him. One F-5 later, Lesnar's hand was raised in victory. The entire story that developed throughout the match was nothing short of amazing.

This match was originally rumored to take place at SummerSlam in 2014, the site of the now-legendary "Suplex City, b****!" line from Lesnar. John Cena took Bryan's place, and also 16 suplexes, which had Daniel Bryan's name written all over them until his untimely injury. Had Byan not been hurt, this classic match may have never taken place, and Suplex City may never have been built.
