Almas debuted on the main roster on the SmackDown brand, and since then hasn't been featured in any major storyline. Although he has impressed one and all with his matches against the likes of Bryan, Rusev, and most importantly AJ Styles. With the rumors of Vince McMahon being high on him, a future push is being planned for Almas.
If Almas wins the World Cup, his push to the top could begin, and it might become the catalyst for his singles push so that he finally wins his first title on the main roster.
