If nothing else, WWE's booking of Brock Lesnar absolutely epitomises the fact that the company has lost touch with what the fans want. In fact, with the company letting Lesnar have a year and half reign with the Universal title, it's obvious that WWE hasn't cared about what the fans have wanted for a long time.

Beyond that, WWE's booking of Brock Lesnar has contributed to the stalling of several careers, and continues to do so till this day. It also has taken away the crown jewel of Monday Night Raw, and turned it into an afterthought in overall storylines, which has drastically affected the belt's prestige.

In the end, The WWE Universe was vocal in the fact that they wanted a fighting champion, and backstage officials seem to still not understand that. With that being said, it's understandable that WWE was in a rush to fill the top spot left by Roman Reigns due to his hiatus, but there were so many better options than Brock Lesnar.
