Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced a battle royal, with the winning team receiving a tag team title shot against The Bar at WrestleMania. Braun Strowman wasn't announced to participate in it, but won the match nonetheless. However, that is not the impromptu booking we are talking about.
For weeks, fans and critics were speculating as to who would partner The Monster Among Men at WM34. Braun Strowman went to the crowd and handpicked a random 11-year-old teenager Nicholas, later revealed to be WWE official, John Cone's son.
Braun Strowman single-handedly squashed The Bar, with Nicholas' only contribution being receiving a hot tag. Braun Strowman and Nicholas would relinquish the championship a night later on Raw, citing Nicholas' conflicting school schedule.
