Since the beginning, heels have been the life of the wrestling scene. They give a reality check to the otherwise happy-go-lucky babyfaces. From the beginning of the WWF era to the Attitude Era to the PG Era, there has been an abundance of heels in the WWE who have annihilated the roster with their malevolent characters.
WWE has seen heels like Ric Flair, Randy Savage, The Iron Shiekh, Roddy Piper, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, CM Punk to name a few. The current generation has a lot of good heels. They have been polished and refined to perform efficiently on the main roster. WWE Universe loves to hate them. Let's honour the heel here and appreciate their actions.

#5 Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt is the new face of fear in WWE. Having competed against The Undertaker, John Cena, and Randy Orton, he is a well-established heel in WWE now. He is more of a cult leader and he is a specimen of a rare breed called an occult leader. Wyatt seems to be following the footsteps of The Undertaker. He cannot be the top heel of RAW but his tactics and manoeuvres get him the success he requires.
Since his debut, he has been working as a heel and that for sure has worked for him. The mind games he plays with his competitors mostly goes into their skins and they surrender to Wyatt. His tactics have always worked in his favour and that makes him one of the top heels of WWE. Currently, his is feuding against 'Woken' Matt Hardy.
#4 Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn is the new heel in WWE. In 2016, after the brand split, he was not utilized properly in RAW and then he was shifted to SmackDown Live in the next minor Superstar Shakeup. He was being wasted as a babyface. Even after shifting to SmackDown, he wasn't utilized properly until he turned heel and joined his old friend cum foe, Kevin Owens.
Zayn received a major push after the heel turn because he got shifted from middle-card to main-event status. Since then, there is no turning back for Zayn. Zayn features in many main-event matches in Smackdown Live and he is also going to feature in the main-event of Fastlane. Last week on SmackDown Live, he turned against Kevin Owens and defeated him by giving him a Helluva-Kick right across his face.
Zayn, an amazing wrestler and promo-cutter, has proved himself as an opportunist. For the past few months, he has got a great push, amazing crowd support and a massive chance to feature in main events. He, alongside Kevin Owens, has made the lives of many people (including Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan) miserable.
#3 Elias
The story of Elias is quite different from other stars who got transferred from NXT. Most of them who shifted to the main roster have lost themselves in the bigger ground. But, Elias is different. He was nothing in NXT, a big failure. Now, in RAW he is becoming a crowd favourite and he is building himself to be one of the top heels.
Elias, the guitar guy is getting more heat than any normal babyface. He is doing an amazing job to attract the attention of the WWE universe. His amazing performance has received an upper middle-card status now and he is one of the must-see villains on the RAW roster. His recent segment with Braun Strowman was widely appreciated and liked. He deserves the push he is getting and he is performing brilliantly.
#2 The Miz
The Miz is getting major push these days and he has proved to be an amazing heel. He has all the magic a good heel needs. He has amazing mic-skills and he is also a good wrestler. Mostly, his talk show 'Miz TV' has outrageous segments which attract a lot of eyes. He is one of those superstars for whom the brand split has been proved profitable.
He has provided the WWE universe with every reason to hate him. He brags about his acting skills, in-ring skills and the way he holds his hands to shut everyone up, every motion of his is so real that it forces the audience to think that he is the same person in reality.
His feuds with Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, John Cena, etc. have shown his promo-cutting skills. He is rarely outdone as a heel and he deserves all the fame he is getting right now.

Kevin Owens is an outrageous heel who has no limits. Owens has proved that his malevolent character has no bounds and he can do anything.
He can fall to any extent to make his enemy's life difficult. Undoubtedly, he is one of the best trash talkers right now in the industry. He mocks, insults, and does everything possible to tear his opponent down.
Right now, he is involved in a feud with Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan along with Sami Zayn. He is known for having disloyal friendships; it happened with Sami Zayn and the self-proclaimed Greatest of all Time Chris Jericho himself. He has betrayed all of them and has proved that he is the best heel. There is no stopping this man.
