Many thought the title was going to be his against Brock Lesnar but what was expected to be a fight turned into a squash where Braun Strowman was subject to as many as 5 F5s before being laid to waste.

Even then Braun remains one of the most over wrestlers in WWE right now. Everyone loves him and he has generated a huge following for himself as well. It does look like Braun would squash Baron Corbin in a mini-feud next and then set sights again on Brock Lesnar for a Universal title fight.

What needs to be seen now is will WWE or will they not finally pull the plug on Strowman. He has been on the verge for close to a year now and he's always been this far. Will the management let him take that final step which, well let's face it, he deserves every bit?
