Since Survivor Series is just around the corner, we take a look at top moments from one of WWE’s ‘Big Four’ PPVs.
WWE vs WCW/ECW
This was a big match which had the potential to change the whole scenario of WWE, and for good. It was WWE’s final stand, under the command of Vince McMahon, against a joint faction of WCW and ECW, lead by Stephanie and Shane McMahon along with Paul Heyman.
The winner of this match would gain control of WWE. On one side, there was the team of The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho and Big Show. And representing WCW and ECW were Stone Cold, RVD, Booker T, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon.

The Rock’s debut
The most electrifying journey in sports entertainment began at Survivor Series when the Rock made his debut as Rocky Maivia.
Part of a traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match, he put on a great show but no one would have thought that he will reach the heights that he did.

First Elimination Chamber
Most dangerous structure on the face of earth made its debut at Survivor Series. Eric Bischoff’s brainchild, the Elimination Chamber, was finally brought into action in 2002.
There was some kind of mystery surrounding the match as no one knew what it was. But the match was much more than anyone’s wildest imagination with over the top action and entertainment, which was never seen on television prior to this.
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, RVD, Kane and Chris Jericho were the participants of the first ever Elimination Chamber match, a match that changed the history of WWE.

Undertaker’s Debut
Survivor Series has seen some of the top stars make their debuts, but none of them gets bigger than this. The Undertaker, the Deadman, was first seen in action at this PPV.
Built to be a demon by Paul Bearer, Undertaker took the WWF (back then) by storm and made something that no superstar has done ever before.
He was Million Dollar Man’s mystery man to team up with him. This moment, is one of the best in the history of WWE, let alone Survivor Series.

Montreal Screwjob
The moment that defined a whole damn era in WWE happened on Survivor Series. Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Vince McMahon and that call.
That call changed the face of WWE forever and hence, inaugurated the Attitude Era and, in the process, effectively ended Bret Hart’s WWE career.
