Amusing Incidents in WWE History

Odd things always catch the attention of wrestling fans. It could be because we’re wired in such a way, but anything out-of-the-blue always works wonders. We love it when Steve Austin drinks beer by smashing the cans, like it when Steve Austin gets crucified by The Undertaker and we absolutely dig all the stuff that falls between and beyond.

But at certain points, WWE takes these 'creative gems' to a different level. Although we enjoy them while they actually happen, recollecting about them after a long time would make us cringe.

This list is going to take a look at some of those wacky incidents in WWE’s history that crossed the limit.

Boogeyman was an interesting character, not because he came in with a clear backstory and purpose, but because he made everyone wonder what the WWE creative team was smoking when they wrote his television run.

That might still be a secret, but something that WWE failed to hide is the wacky segment that Boogeyman was involved in.

Jillian Hall, who had a big mole on her face, apparently crossed paths with Boogeyman in between the ropes. And Boogeyman – in a segment which was completely uncalled for – ate the mole off her face without the slightest bit of hesitation.

Try imagining that in your head if you have not seen it yet.

Val Venis gets his thing cut off

That graphic moment

The gimmick of Val Venis was well suited for the Attitude Era. He was a former pornstar and his name rhymed with 'you know what'. Most of the WWE fans would remember him for over the top mannerisms that he used to do and it is actually good considering that he was involved in a forgettable segment where his 'you know what' was cut off.

Val was feuding with Kaientai and he apparently slept with the wife of Kaientai's manager, Wally Yamaguchi.

Wally wanted revenge and kidnapped Val and using a sword, performed a downward thrust with the screen blacking out. Val later came out saying that he suffered a little shrinkage.

Raven kills moppy

Moppy getting killed

Raven is a wrestling genius. During his career that spread across ECW, WCW, WWE and TNA, Raven might've not won a truckload of titles or entered numerous Hall of Fames, but he did earn a lot of respect for the creative mind that he is.

One of the forgettable segments of Raven involved the murder of Moppy.

For those who don't know who Moppy is, Moppy was a mop which had a dress and was loved by Perry Saturn. Raven ended the whole ordeal by killing Moppy and the whole segment and storyline were weird to the core.

Big Show rides on coffin

WWE superstars riding on huge monster cars are understandable. They are celebrities and are bound to do such stuff. But Big Show – who owns one of the most decorated resumes in the wrestling business – was lucky enough to ride the coffin of his dead father.

Show was feuding with the Big Boss Man during that time and WWE had the idea of having a funeral ceremony of Big Show's father.

To help if fuel the feud, Big Boss Man came in and crashed the funeral, dragging the coffin with his car, with a distraught Show holding on Show desperately tried to hold on to the same but he soon lost his balance and fell off.

Limo explosion of Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon has a crazy head. The idea of killing off his character straight from that crazy head of his. During an episode of Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon got into the limo and just as he closed the door, the limo exploded.

The whole segment was supposed to boost the ratings of Raw and at the same time write off the Vince McMahon character from television. At least, that's what WWE had in plan.

However, WWE soon dropped the whole storyline due to the untimely death of Chris Benoit and Vince had to appear on the tribute show of Benoit. It was a weird angle, to say the least, and if it wasn’t for the death of Benoit, we would've seen something controversial from the WWE.
