Only two wrestlers have beaten the Deadman at WrestleMania

The WrestleMania streak set by The Undertaker will probably go down as the most impressive streak in wrestling history.

The streak began at WrestleMania VII when The Undertaker defeated Jimmy Snuka. What followed after were years of glory for The Deadman as he went on to defeat various competitors to have a 21-0 undefeated streak.

His victims were some of the biggest legends and WWE Hall of Famers like Ric Flair, Jake Roberts, and Shawn Michaels.

Triple H tried thrice but failed each time in conquering the streak. It was Brock Lesnar who finally ended the streak at WrestleMania XXX which is considered as one of the most shocking finishes in WWE history.

The Deadman could have great matches with many other talented wrestlers. Call it bad booking or a time constraint, but some of these matches could've gone on to become the best in history.

Here are five such wrestlers who never had a WrestleMania match with The Undertaker.

#5 Chris Jericho

Jericho and The Undertaker have had some interesting matches over the years

Chris Jericho has been one of the best faces, along with being one of the best heels in WWE.

He had it all - impeccable in-ring skills, effective on the microphone, and drawing star power. Y2J was the first ever WWE Undisputed Champion when he went on to beat both Austin and The Rock on a single night.

Over the years, Jericho and The Undertaker have met several times in the same ring. Both had different wrestling styles, and their matches were always interesting to watch.

Be it at Survivor Series or Elimination Chamber, the two have always torn each other apart.

Jericho and The Deadman have many WrestleMania moments to their name. Unfortunately, they were never able to create one together.

#4 Kurt Angle

Angle and Taker at No Way Out 2006
Angle and The Deadman delivered a classic at No Way Out 2006

Kurt Angle was a naturally gifted athlete, thanks to his Olympic wrestling background.

He quickly adapted to the style of WWE and in no time reached the top of the industry. His character was much loved by the fans. Angle could put on phenomenal matches with absolutely anybody.

The Undertaker and the Olympic Gold Medallist put on a classic encounter at No Way Out in 2006.

Considered as one of the best matches for both wrestlers, the end saw Angle pinning The Phenom in a clean finish making him one of the very few wrestlers to achieve this feat.

Imagine Angle and The Undertaker giving their all against each other at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

The match would've been remembered for ages, but sadly, it could not happen.

#3 The Rock

The Brahma Bull
The Brahma Bull has fought with and against the Deadman

The Rock is perhaps the most entertaining and charismatic wrestler of all time.

He was gold on the microphone and left a lasting impression on the business as a fascinating performer.

The People's Champ is much adored by the fans for his catchphrases and solid in-ring action.

The Rock and Undertaker have wrestled countless matches together, as allies and also against each other.

The two were responsible for shaping up the Attitude Era and making the period one of the memorable ones in history.

They never had a WrestleMania match together. As big as it sounds, two of the most personified performers going at each other would've been fun to watch.

#2 Bret Hart

Bret Hart did have
fierce
rivalry with The Undertaker

Bret Hart was called the Excellence of Execution for a reason.

The Hitman was unarguably the best technical wrestler of that era. He did lack mic skills and charisma but made up for it with his mat skills and submission moves.

Hart and The Undertaker had a great match at SummerSlam 1997 with Michaels as the special guest referee.

Hart won the match when HBK hit Taker with a steel chair. Their rivalry was fierce but could not culminate at the Show of Immortals.

The Hitman had already peaked in his career when The Undertaker was climbing up the ranks.

Hart left when the dynamics of WWE were changing, and thus a dream match could not take place.

#1 Stone Cold Steve Austin

Taker vs Austin at Backlash 2002
A match between the two would have been a classic at WrestleMania

Austin is arguably the biggest name in the wrestling industry. He was the pioneer in the success of WWE during the 90s.

The Texas Rattlesnake changed the definition of being a wrestler and also helped change the way people look at heels and babyfaces.

Austin and The Undertaker have had a significant number of matches together, but never at WrestleMania.

Two of the best wrestlers ever to grace the squared circle, Austin and Taker have stolen the show every time they beat the hell out of each other If only we could have a WrestleMania moment with them.
