Top 5 WWE Instagram Posts of the Week (1st December 2018)

The RAW episode of this week was hailed as one of the worst episodes ever in the history of Monday Night RAW while SmackDown Live managed to impress the audience. Monday Night RAW saw the growth of the newly formed heel faction comprising Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. The trio took out Finn Balor and Elias on the episode of RAW while Alexa Bliss was handed the managerial responsibilities of the female division by Acting GM Baron Corbin.

On the blue brand, the WWE Universe celebrated 20 years of Jeff Hardy and the feud of Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio also reached newer heights.

Overall, it was an average week for WWE TV but the superstars performed well on the photo-sharing site, Instagram. Here are the top 5 posts of the week -

#5 Natalya's Imperfection and Genius

Natalya, who is a regular feature on Monday Night RAW, shared a beautiful image from her photoshoot where she is wearing a bracelet and donning a confident outfit. The member of Hart Family has received some bad booking from the WWE Creative of late as she has become no less than a sidekick to the RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

She was involved in a pointless segment on RAW this week where she was attacked by the Riott Squad when she came out to help her friend. Also, it has been a long time since Natalya has had a singles feud on TV. She has been a part of meaningless tag team matches where she has teamed up Sasha Banks and Bayley to battle the Riott Squad. Perhaps, a heel turn or a move to SmackDown Live would help her revive her career.

Nevertheless, the 'Queen of Harts' stole the spotlight on Instagram with her post which has received nearly 50,000 likes.

#4 John Cena receives the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award

The 16-time World Champion John Cena, who has been off TV for a while due to his busy schedule is set to receive the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award at the Sports Illustrated's Sportsmen of the Year Awards. Cena has developed a huge fan following with his in-ring work and was the face of the WWE for over a decade.

The Leader of Cenation was last seen in a WWE ring at WWE Super Show Down where he teamed up with Bobby Lashley to defeat the team of Elias and Kevin Owens. He was set to be a part of the WWE World Cup but later pulled out of the event. Cena's last feud on WWE TV was with the Deadman, the Undertaker since then he has been absent from RAW and SmackDown Live. He also gave a miss to the 2 Big 4 pay-per-views in Summerslam and Survivor Series but has been a regular feature on WWE's overseas tours.

#3 Alexa Bliss' love for animals

Former RAW and SD Live Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss has shifted into a non-wrestling role on WWE TV due to her injuries. She has been away from the ring since almost 2 months and it looks like the WWE Creative team is in no mood to let her return to the ring as she was awarded a managerial role on RAW recently.

However, Little Miss Bliss caught everyone's attention on Instagram by sharing a picture of herself with puppies, a dog and a pig which shows the female superstar's love for animals. The Five Feet of Fury has always displayed her love for animals on social media which shows her kind-heartedness. With the presence of Ronda Rousey in the RAW Women's Division, it is unlikely that Bliss would be making her in-ring return soon as she can play a catalyst to several secondary feuds in the RAW Women's division.

#2 Brie Bella's stress-buster

WWE Superstar Brie Bella who made her in-ring return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January this year was later involved in feuds with the Miz, Maryse, the Riott Squad and Ronda Rousey. However, she has been off TV ever since the Evolution PPV. Brie recently celebrated her birthday and had also spent some time with her family last week.

This week Brie uploaded some cute photographs of herself with her daughter Birdie Joe. The former Divas Champion hails Birdie as her stress-buster as Brie was on a stressful call when her little girl came up behind with a headlock of kisses. The post was loved by the entire WWE Universe and has thus far received over 200k likes and more than 1,700 comments. It does not look like Brie would be making her return to RAW or SmackDown Live any time soon but the Bella Twin may make her return to the WWE in the 30 woman Royal Rumble match in January 2019.

Instagram Post of the Week - Finn Balor's too sweet moment with Lio Rush

This past week on the WWE Mixed Match Challenge, the duo of Finn Balor and Bayley clashed with the team of Mickie James and Bobby Lashley who was accompanied by his hype man Lio Rush. This was the play-off match of the WWE MMC II where the losing team was set to be knocked out of the tournament.

Lio Rush interfered in this match which led to the capturing of one of the funniest photos inside (the referee's reaction was the icing on the cake). In the above post, it looks like the leader of Balor Club is all set to show his love to Lio Rush. The 205 Live star also shared this picture on Instagram where he let his fans decide the caption. The fans came up with some hilarious captions for this post in the comments box.
