The WWE has seen many weird things happen throughout its history. Wierdos like the Boogeyman, Papa Shango and the Bizarre One – Goldusthave graced the ring as have the three faces of Mick Foley – the creepy Mankind, the crazed Cactus Jack and of course the properly mad Dude Love. With character like these it comes as no surprise that the WWE has seen its share of matches with weird stipulations. We take a look at five of the weirdest

5) Good Housekeeping match (Unforgiven 1999)

Chyna and Jeff Jarrett’s rivalry as they battled for the Intercontinental Championship was unique in its own way as it featured a woman and man wrestling against each other. Jarrett was apparently trying to show Chyna a women’s proper place in the world. He challenged her to a ‘Good Housekeeping’ match in which the use of any household items including the kitchen sink were legal to use

4) Pub Brawl

The APA brought together some of the weirdest of the weird in Brother Love, Doink the Clown and the Easter Bunny(Damien Sandow in a bunny suit) for a brawl in a bar at Vengeance 2003. The rules – last man still drinking wins.

3) Gulf of Mexico match

CM Punk and Chavo Guerrero slugged it out on a road next to the Gulf of Mexico in Corpus Christi. The only way either of them could win was by tossing their opponent into the Gulf Of Mexico. The duo slugged it out in the night in street clothes before Punk finally emerged victorious

2) Buried Alive match

An Undertaker special if there ever was one. The WWE has used this match on numerous occasions to kill of the dead man so that they could bring him back later. The Undertaker has taken part in all five of the buried alive matches till date and has won two and lost three of them. The most memorable of the lot was his match against Mr. McMahon at Survivor Series 2003

1) Boiler Room Brawl

Mankind’s signature match – the boiler room brawl saw the masked madman take on the Undertaker inside a small basement room surrounded by burning pipes, jagged steel and unforgiving concrete. The match could be only won by taking the urn from Paul Bearer. The match is remembered most for Bearer’s betrayal of Undertaker
