Heading into Bad Blood on Saturday, October 5, Triple H has finalized the match card for the premium live event, which currently consists of five big-time matches. Still, The Game could break a rule that WWE has for PLEs and add another match.
Other than the traditional big four PLEs, the Stamford-based company has been following a rule for five matches for each premium live event, but this time, Triple H could add a sixth one for the sake of former Bloodline member Sami Zayn.
Zayn has emerged as the next challenger to Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship, but The Ring General has repeatedly turned down the opportunity to put his title on the line at Bad Blood.
Given what fans have seen so far, it will be the perfect time for Triple H to make the match official for Bad Blood, keeping the fans' interest in the storyline intact. However, this might still not happen, and the Gunther vs. Sami Zayn match could be the first to be announced for the next premium live event, Crown Jewel, on November 2.
Dominik Mysterio made an outrageous comment recently. More details HERE
Such a move would make sense for Triple H since the former Bloodline member is a fan favorite in Saudi Arabia.
What matches have been announced for Bad Blood?
Bad Blood is expected to see the end of a rivalry between two megastars and a few title defenses. More specifically, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will settle their rivalry once and for all as they collide in a Hell in a Cell Match. The two megastars have been battling for the past eight months, but their feud is expected to end this Saturday.
In addition, Rhea Ripley will look to reclaim the Women's World Championship when she challenges Liv Morgan. This will be the next chapter in the rivalry between the two female superstars, which started in April. In addition, the Terror Twins will continue their quest for revenge on The Judgment Day, when Damian Priest takes on Finn Balor.
The remaining two matches on the card come from SmackDown, as Nia Jax will put her WWE Women's Championship on the line against Bayley. The Role Model advanced to the match after defeating Naomi in a number one Contender's Match and will look to dethrone The Irresistible Force. Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton could cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase after the match and win the Women's Championship for the first time in her career.
Last but not least, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up to face a common enemy, Solo and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. This will add more fuel to their rivalry, which is expected to intensify heading to Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: WarGames.
