Triple H gives a heartwarming speech for recently deceased rock god

Time to play the game!

The world of music lost one of its icons with the recent passing of Ian Fraser Kilmister, or “Lemmy”, founder of hard rock giants Motorhead. His funeral saw the who’s who of the music industry turn up to pay their last respects.

Amongst the multitude was WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Creative and Live Events, Triple H. For those not in the know, Motorhead made three of Triple H’s themes – The Game, King of Kings and Evolution. But the bond between them runs much deeper than that, as the two were close friends, according to WrestlingInc.

In the below video of the speech, Triple H describes his friendship with Lemmy, including a peak into the rock god’s persona and fondly reminisces about him in an anecdote. While ties between the show business industry and the WWE aren’t uncommon, we feel this is one association that illustrates the best of both worlds.
