WWE/NXT News: Triple H is keen on singing Kota Ibushi with NXT
Can we expect to see the NJPW star in NXT?
Cagesideseats.com noted that Triple H is taking personal interest in singing Kota Ibushi with NXT. However, the Japanese star seems to be one of his kind, as up till now, he hasn't shown interest in signing with the company.
Since his first appearance in a WWE arena during the NXT Takeover: Dallas event, fans have been speculating that they will soon see Ibushi wrestling along with the other world class athletes present there at Full Sail University.
WWE officials have also shown interest in signing the star full time and have made several different offers to him regarding this as well.
However, until now, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion has shown zero interest in signing a contract with the company. As Wrestling Observer reports, this could be because Kota Ibushi says that he "still has things he wants to do in Japan"
Making his debut in 2004, Kota Ibushi is a well-known name among Japanese wrestling fans. Although he is currently working with the WWE in the ongoing Cruiserweight Classic tournament, his future with the company after this tournament is still murky as of now.
