Twitter reacts to Brock Lesnar's potential USADA anti-doping violations

Brock Lesnar got flagged by USADA yesterday for a potential anti-doping violation.

The UFC announced yesterday that former WWE, UFC and NJPW champion Brock Lesnar had been flagged by the USADA for a potential anti-doping violation.

At this point, it hasn’t been confirmed what substance that Brock got flagged for but the situation does not look good for both UFC and the WWE. For one thing, if Brock was indeed doping, it will be a black mark on WWE’s Wellness Policy even though Brock has not featured in WWE programming since Wrestlemania.

How will it affect his match with Randy Orton at Summerslam?

If the doping allegations do stick, it is very likely that WWE will hand him a suspension too. Regarding any potential future matches in the UFC, Lesnar could get banned from MMA for upto two years.

It’s unfeasible that Brock could return to the octagon two years later at the age of 41.

The Twitterverse reacted to the news with its usual sarcasm and wit, mixed with outrage from both fans and respected figures in MMA.

Hunt himself went on a bit of a social media rant himself. He was clearly unhappy with the news that Lesnar might have been of performance enhancers.

Hunt had also made a statement earlier in the day as retweeted by @angelflip0.

MMA fans reacted to the news by generally siding with Mark Hunt and his demand for Lesnar’s purse for UFC 200.

Karma also came back to bit both Lesnar and Dana White for comments they’d made previously, as pointed out by the Twitterverse.

@infamouskidd also pointed out on Twitter, how Lesnar’s MMA return situation had suddenly turned on its head for both the WWE and the UFC since the news broke.

On a lighter note, here are some hilarious twitter reactions to Lesnar’s potential anti-doping violation.

However, one thing we must remember is that this is only a potential violation. Lesnar has every right to appeal it and he is innocent till proved otherwise.
