This week of Monday Night Raw was broadcast from Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Acting General Manager Baron Corbin kicked off the show and he introduced Commissioner of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon.
Baron Corbin talks about his success as an acting General Manager. He asked Stephanie McMahon whether Raw's clean sweep ensured his permanent job or not. Braun Strowman came out and Stephanie McMahon gave Strowman an opportunity to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble if he beats Baron Corbin at TLC pay-per-view.
Stephanie then set up a 6-man tag team match between the team of Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley and the team of Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Elias. The match started just after the Stephanie departed.
In the 6=man tag team elimination match, Drew McIntyre eliminated Finn Balor with a Claymore Kick. Next Elias also got eliminated via count-out after the interference of Lio Rush. With Braun Strowman being the sole survivor for his team, he hit Baron Corbin with a power slam but Drew McIntyre attacked Braun Strowman with a steel chair, disqualifying himself in the process. Three of them continued attacking Braun Strowman and the match was called off due to Strowman's injury.
Next, on Raw, Seth Rollins came out to address Dean Ambrose and said all this will end at TLC when he defeats Dean Ambrose. Dean Ambrose appeared on the screen and he cut a very cryptic promo and called for Rollins to come backstage and find him. Seth Rollins goes backstage to find Dean Ambrose.
Next, Nia Jax and Tamina teamed up against the team of Sasha Banks and Bayley. After some great action, Jax and Tamina defeat Bayley and Banks.
Lucha House Party faced The Revival next on Raw and they quickly defeated Revival after Lince Dorado hit a 450 on Dash Wilder.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey came out next to address her current situation and she demands a match for her and Mickey James came out to face her. Ronda Rousey defeated Mickey James in a quick match. After the match, Nia Jax came out with Tamina and Jax stared down the champion before going backstage.
In a non-title match against tag team champion AOP, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable defeated Authors of Pain. Natalya next faced Ruby Riott and she defeated Ruby Riott despite the interference of Riott squad.
Dean Ambrose finally came out and the crowd booed him while he antagonized the LA crowd for cheering for Rollins. Rollins then showed up on the Titantron and was running to the ring and speared Dean before hitting him with a Suicide Dive onto the barricades when he tried to escape.
Dean Ambrose then hit a low blow to Seth and then hit the Dirty Deeds before the officials drove him away. Dean Ambrose came back and again hit a Dirty Deeds on Rollins to end this week's edition of Raw.
