This week of WWE SmackDown Live was live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The New Day came out to kick off the show.

Xavier Woods and Big E talked about their journey as the New Day and thanked fans for giving them the support. They said that they had discussed walking away from WWE. Woods then said that they need some answers before making the decision to quit WWE and called out Vince McMahon.

Vince McMahon came out but they were interrupted by WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. Bryan said that Kofi does not deserve the opportunity and asked Mr. McMahon that he should allow them to quit. He then called The New Day a "stale novelty act" and calls Kofi Kingston a "B+ player".

Vince McMahon said that the New Day was not going to quit and tells Kofi that he will always be a B+ player. He said that Kofi is done with opportunities and announced that Kofi will get the title match at WrestleMania if Woods and Big E could win a tag team gauntlet match later tonight.

Asuka came out next to defend her SmackDown Live Women's Championship match against Charlotte Flair. After some incredible action, Charlotte Flair won the match to become the new SmackDown Live Women's Champion.

Kurt Angle came out next to face AJ Styles in a singles match. AJ Styles won the match by disqualification when Randy Orton came out of nowhere and landed an RKO on AJ Styles.

Next, on SmackDown Live, The Miz came out to talk about Shane McMahon. Miz vowed to destroy Shane at WrestleMania and demanded to make his match at Mania as Falls Count Anywhere match.

Shane McMahon then came out with security and some superstars and agreed to add Falls Count Anywhere stipulation. Shane said that he's disappointed that he didn't inflict more pain on The Miz's father. Miz got angry and attacked the security guards and then the WWE Superstars but the numbers game went against The Miz.

Xavier Woods and Big E to compete in a Gauntlet match and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson came out first to face them. Big E and Xavier woods defeated them comfortably when Woods pinned Anderson. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev came out next but they failed to beat Woods and Big E.

The Bar came out next to face them and after some amazing action, Woods and Big E eliminate them. The Usos came out next and announced that they respect Kofi Kingston. They then forfeit the match and left the arena.

Daniel Bryan along with Rowan came out last to face Xavier Woods and Big E. After some back and forth action, Big E and Woods beat the team of Bryan and Rowan by count-out to win the Gauntlet match. Kofi Kingston came out to celebrate the victory with them.
